KUSTURD
Mark Mothersbaugh had one of the world's largest crystal rubies carved in the shape of an ice cream cone and titled it "Ruby Kusturd". It is over 30,000 carats. He then began to wonder what other materials he could use to make his Kusturd sculptures. As an homage to Akron, Ohio, the Rubber Capital of the World, he produced a vulcanized rubber version made at one of the last original rubber factories in Akron.
