None of these photos or sculptures would exist if it wasn’t for Mothersbaugh’s great-grandfather Megawatti Ratzer, a watch repairman who upon reading about the French and English creations of universal pneumatic clocks, moved to the United States to strike it rich in the universal collaboration of timekeeping.
